Vérsárkány SE's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Nimród Tálas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Aybars Cihannur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Aybars Cihannur came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. The Vérsárkány SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aybars Cihannur should have stopped the shot. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 90th minute of play forced Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Aybars Cihannur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vérsárkány SE booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
