Jânio Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jânio Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ivo Massa sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Tróia. Micah Macdonald took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jânio Palmeira. Jânio Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Issac Dawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jânio Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim do Vale in the 40th minute of the match. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jânio Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. The Taura Cupincha-U18 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. England were winning 0-4.

After 54 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Seth Young. In the 56th minute, Ivo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taura Cupincha-U18 made a substitution. Ernani Cerezo replaced Ivo Massa. After a rather tough play, Taura Cupincha-U18's Ivo Massa got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jânio Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 59th minute of the match. Delfim do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. Taura Cupincha-U18's Jânio Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Taura Cupincha-U18 from getting a goal against them. Delfim do Vale took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim do Vale in the 68th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Kyle Cox got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Palmeira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Micah Macdonald charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micah Macdonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Taura Cupincha-U18 booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micah Macdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Issac Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Jânio Palmeira. Taura Cupincha-U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 96th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caelan Hayes to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over England could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Taura Cupincha-U18 throughout the match.
