In the 9th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. A hard shot by Zeledon Victoro from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Flavio Vittori's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Beltxe saved Marno F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aldo Beltxe. In the 23rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigfrido Auletta in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Beltxe saved Marno F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Bieito, made in the 39th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Jorge Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Kristian Gjerde replaced Gabriel Mónos. A sloppy throw-in by Kristian Gjerde in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Beltxe was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 71st minute of play. Cristobal Dominix replaced Igor Jokin. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th minute of play. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Aldo Beltxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Marno F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe did a great save. Kristian Gjerde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marno F.C..
