The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Mantzio got free with Wilson Amorim in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Jan Sierocki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Camilo Canor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Canor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as The White Star WK's Camilo Canor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 3-0 after 13 minutes of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Kajdasz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play forced The White Star WK's goalkeeper Mariusz Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariusz Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Canor in the 23rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariusz Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Eriberto Mantzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Edmund Kiszkiel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mariusz Kajdasz. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The White Star WK the free kick. The supporters of The White Star WK booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Sierocki in the 58th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The White Star WK's Camilo Canor got a free kick in the 59th minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Canor in the 61st minute of the match. Kryspin Dulemba kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, The White Star WK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Piszczor to maneuver through the defense. The White Star WK's Mariusz Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 70th minute of play. The White Star WK made a substitution. Rafal Zagrobelny replaced Jan Sierocki. The throw-in from Ovidio Frantzes in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The White Star WK's goalie and right to Fabricio Andrade. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The White Star WK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Mantzio in the 78th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Camilo Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariusz Kajdasz was a little too slow when Felipinho Amorim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 4-3. 85 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Mantzio came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Mariusz Kajdasz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Piszczor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes The White Star WK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rodolfo Miranda managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, The White Star WK's Mariusz Kajdasz got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The White Star WK.
