In the 33rd minute of the match, Zhao Sen Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olov Ahlbeck got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mugurel Pandele. Zhao Sen Yang did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 37 minutes into the match. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Sen Yang. Tommy Kahn had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhao Sen Yang to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball.
