Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Lopez Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lopez Murphy came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amável Quintas having to make a save. In the 8th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Ferreyra got free with Tommy Kahn in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Lopez Murphy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Javier Ferreyra. But to his dismay, Javier Ferreyra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 18th minute Lopez Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Lopez Murphy got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Ferreyra hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 26th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Javier Ferreyra had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amável Quintas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Ferreyra's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Israel Ishmael hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Ferreyra in the 43rd minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Javier Ferreyra sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lopez Murphy was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lopez Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bobby Van der Sande who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bobby Van der Sande got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lopez Murphy in the 64th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Israel Ishmael managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 73 minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Lopez Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Lopez Murphy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Ferreyra came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 had won after a very even match.
