The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes POLI TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Blăniță. Călin Hulubei took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Călin Hulubei made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Onea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Timo Siegmund's late challenge caught a POLI TIMISOARA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Siegmund helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Timo Siegmund. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Edgar Onea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Edgar Onea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Edgar Onea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bandit Bandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of POLI TIMISOARA booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fridolin Neumeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Edgar Onea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Horaţiu Blăniță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
