Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Isaias Erroman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Erroman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 8th minute of play. After 9th play minutes Viriato Moura shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Omar Lauren and just under the crossbar into goal. Sait Baray hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Omar Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Portalupi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eusebio Ecija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Raul Caetano got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's Renato Portalupi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Omar Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Isaias Erroman sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 41st minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Omar Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Lauren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Balvanera's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Balvanera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Graciano Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Lauren quite easily take care of the ball. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Eugenio Mena got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Martino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Felipe Barreto from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Omar Lauren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Erroman went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Omar Lauren made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Isaias Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Jaroslaw Kaczorowski replaced Renato Portalupi. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Deportivo Balvanera's François-Xavier Castello was substituted for Isaias Erroman. Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Everardo Cordero in the 69 minute of the game. In the 79th minute, François-Xavier Castello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Deportivo Balvanera's attentive Arí Brito managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Bastos made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Omar Lauren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-4 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 86th minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Omar Lauren. Deportivo Balvanera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. 89 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when François-Xavier Castello came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François-Xavier Castello in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Omar Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Lauren came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. But to his dismay, Felipinho Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-6. The Deportivo Balvanera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portugal's performance. The match ended with a win for Portugal.
