Constantino Roldanillo made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bautista Marcó however managed to control. In the 13th minute Godofredo Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 25 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Tiadoro came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Tiadoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Dudkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quebracho FC's attentive Jose Manuel Arias managed to snatch the ball when Arturo Vidal made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Tiadoro made a kick off. Quebracho FC made a substitution. Bernardino Abastas replaced Godofredo Tiadoro. 61 minutes into the game, Arturo Vidal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Quebracho FC's Alejandro Edur quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Arturo Vidal got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arturo Vidal hit a great ball. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Odell in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Quebracho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yin Hong Fan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
