Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Vissenaeken got the match started through his kick off. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Baia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Guido Vissenaeken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Baia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Vissenaeken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off.
