Thanks to some nice moves Adam Blue could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Bengt Eliasson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ufuk Orcan in the 12 minute of the game. Bülent Kutunalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhan Çakır in the 14th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Bengt Eliasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Dorukhan Toköz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bülent Kutunalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Eliasson got free with Tommy Kahn in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikolas König hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Eliasson in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Serhan Çakır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Bengt Eliasson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bengt Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dorukhan Toköz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Eliasson in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorukhan Toköz in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Dennis Matteucci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bülent Kutunalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Bengt Eliasson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Arda Baybars Baltacı was substituted for Serhan Çakır. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa made a substitution. The supporters of Germany booed when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp Kiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Hasan Can Artan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Hasan Can Artan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Arda Baybars Baltacı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Arda Baybars Baltacı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arda Baybars Baltacı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 93 minutes into the match, Hasan Can Artan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn.
