In the 8th minute of the game João Paulo Antunes made a throw-in which Silvinho Moraes played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 15th minute of play forced Forest's goalkeeper Jeferson Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Feng Yun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Kellogg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Shi Feng Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Kellogg in the 25th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Didi Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
