When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Lorenzo Kellogg put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reha Bartu. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALZELIT's goalkeeper Reha Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALZELIT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dündar Aymaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Forest's players had a chance to rest. Lorenzo Kellogg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reha Bartu having to make a save. Asım Çağili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Toledo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Kellogg got free with Reha Bartu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th match minute, ALZELIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enes Peyam to maneuver through the defense. Reha Bartu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lorenzo Kellogg sent off a good shot on target. Didi Corrêa hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Enes Peyam got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tony Lopes. In the 54th minute of the match Forest got a corner. ALZELIT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dündar Aymaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Forest's Dündar Aymaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Reha Bartu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lorenzo Kellogg might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reha Bartu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Kellogg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Kellogg in the 61st minute of play forced ALZELIT's goalkeeper Reha Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, one of Forest:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forest. ALZELIT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Reha Bartu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Kellogg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reha Bartu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
