Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Luiz Eduardo de Queiroz got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Caco Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvinho Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Barreto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sosoco FC defense, Silvinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Barreto. The Sosoco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Barreto should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Silvinho Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. São Wilson's Giovanni Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvinho Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Barreto having to make a save. 0-4 became the score in the 36th minute when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Giuseppe Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvinho Moraes went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Caco Arruda's late challenge caught a São Wilson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caco Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. Caco Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half São Wilson were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson hit a great ball. Shi Feng Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vito Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sosoco FC's protests and gave Vito Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Garcia's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Giuseppe Barreto - 0-7 was put on the score board in the 65th minute. Giuseppe Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 73rd minute of play. The São Wilson fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Giuseppe Barreto. São Wilson's Reynaldo Arce was substituted for João Paulo Antunes. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Azevedo in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Wilson's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson rounded Sosoco FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-11. The Sosoco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. São Wilson were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
