The corner was taken by Luisinho Vinhas in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luisinho Vinhas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mike Axisa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kim Bolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orest Komissarov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Bolas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orest Komissarov saved Cercadinho from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orest Komissarov. Cercadinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kim Bolas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orest Komissarov having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goalkeeper Orest Komissarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Bolas. 22 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orest Komissarov, 2-0. Cercadinho's Luisinho Vinhas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mike Axisa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 30th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulises Ixidor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 35 minutes, Izydor Domamir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cercadinho and the Sliema Dragons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Cercadinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cercadinho:s Orest Komissarov showed great skill when he stopped Kim Bolas:s penalty. Kim Bolas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orest Komissarov came out and tried to block the shot, but Kim Bolas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orest Komissarov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Enrique Gerber in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Selman Onkal. Orest Komissarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orest Komissarov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 49th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Giovanni Demicoli went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Giovanni Demicoli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Valiente Venezian made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kim Bolas sped through Cercadinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orest Komissarov. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orest Komissarov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Cercadinho's Mauro Prata was substituted for Acácio de Lima. Orest Komissarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Cercadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. In the 65th minute, Enrique Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66thth minute of the game Dejan Cassar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 minutes, Dejan Cassar made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cercadinho's goalkeeper Orest Komissarov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73rd play minutes Dejan Cassar shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Orest Komissarov and just under the crossbar into goal. Izydor Domamir hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dejan Cassar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Cercadinho made a substitution. Abelardo Bertassi replaced Valiente Venezian. Orest Komissarov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dejan Cassar went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 97thth minute of the game Dejan Cassar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sliema Dragons FC had played much better football throughout.
