Giuseppe Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asım Çağili, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Asım Çağili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Azevedo in the 8th minute of play forced ALZELIT's goalkeeper Tarzan Baycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asım Çağili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Barreto having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, ALZELIT's Tomasz Iwaszko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tomasz Iwaszko sped through Sosoco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giuseppe Barreto. In the 17th minute, Sosoco FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Asım Çağili fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Sosoco FC's Giuseppe Barreto got control of the ball when Tomasz Iwaszko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tarzan Baycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sosoco FC's Enio Azevedo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALZELIT's goalie prevented a goal. ALZELIT's Tarzan Baycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Azevedo in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asım Çağili to make the kick off. Şentürk Orgun hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Iwaszko in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Barreto saved Sosoco FC from getting behind. When Didi Senna was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. In the 58th minute, Didi Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, ALZELIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asım Çağili to maneuver through the defense. Enio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarzan Baycan having to interfere. The supporters of ALZELIT booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sosoco FC defense, Tomasz Iwaszko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Barreto. The Sosoco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Barreto should have stopped the shot. Giuseppe Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Iwaszko went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Tomasz Iwaszko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Barreto having to interfere. Enio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, one of Sosoco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for ALZELIT. Asım Çağili stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giuseppe Barreto. 8-0. Giuseppe Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şentürk Orgun in the 93rd minute of the match. Delfim Guedes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Asım Çağili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
