The audience was convinced that Alexandros Matsinopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Gaxan was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C's zone, Alexandros Matsinopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Gaxan came out of the goal and Alexandros Matsinopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Alexandros Matsinopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Vidales in the 76th minute of play. Romeo Gaxan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandros Matsinopoulos went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Romeo Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eike Hörtnagel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guangzhou Dark Horse F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. 陶洲克 hit a great ball.
