Segundo Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Hostens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Kepa in the 22nd minute of play forced Diabolic Team's goalkeeper Lucas Hostens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Hostens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Ahlqvist in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Segundo Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Hostens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Zjawin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Cappelsmans in the 28th minute. Lucas Hostens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sköll F.C. were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Diabolic Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anders Ahlqvist took the corner. Lucas Hostens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Van de Loock, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Iwan Zjawin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafal Bator's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The supporters of Sköll F.C. booed when Diabolic Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaques Van Mellaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
