Giuseppe Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Serafin Ugaitz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edmílson Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Giuseppe Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Henrico in the 7th minute of the match. Giuseppe Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Che in the 13th minute of play. Nestor Viviano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giuseppe Barreto. Sosoco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Giuseppe Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Henrico in the 26th minute of play forced Sosoco FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Veloso. Giuseppe Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Henrico in the 33rd minute of the match. Constantino Henrico took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe Barreto. Giuseppe Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Sosoco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Nieruchliwy came free, but Giuseppe Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Henrico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsnü Hürsel to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmílson Veloso got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Marcus Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Henrico made a kick off. The supporters of Sosoco FC booed when Cacomixtles de Queretaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Nieruchliwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Nieruchliwy got free with Giuseppe Barreto in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Enio Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Henrico struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Giuseppe Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacomixtles de Queretaro. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Generoso Semeno was substituted for Hüsnü Hürsel. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson was substituted for Constantino Henrico. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Osvaldo Lluis was substituted for Brahim Sélim Haj Ali. In the 84thth minute of the game Gustav Sefastsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sosoco FC's Giuseppe Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 93rd minute Gustav Sefastsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Enio Azevedo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz. Serafin Ugaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
