Serafin Ugaitz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Kim Bolas sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Ugaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kim Bolas scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Ugaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17thth minute of the game Kim Bolas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 周斐俊 hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Kim Bolas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Kim Bolas scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Ugaitz, making the score, 5-0. Sliema Dragons FC's Ulises Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Bolas was the one to do the kick off. Ulises Ixidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Serafin Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Kim Bolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Bolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selman Onkal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Ulises Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sliema Dragons FC's Timmy Vallengren was substituted for Giovanni Demicoli. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Gábor Illés replaced 周斐俊. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cacomixtles de Queretaro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Selman Onkal was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalie and right to Ulises Ixidor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The throw-in from Paddy Attenborough in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Timmy Vallengren. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Selman Onkal in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Edinho de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafin Ugaitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th minute, Selman Onkal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Mike Axisa threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustav Sefastsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Serafin Ugaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dejan Cassar went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Dejan Cassar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Ugaitz having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafin Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar. But to his dismay, Dejan Cassar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Sliema Dragons FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
