When Zvonimir Prestin came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the PoWer SC 2K5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonimir Prestin couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Kluttig came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Åke Fors sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 17th minute of play. Leroy Kluttig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sebastian Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Kluttig, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Patrick Middendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Sandberg having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Kai Förster threw the ball into play from the sideline. Degerfors IF's Zygmunt Filanowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Fors's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Todor in the 33rd minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Kluttig in the 39th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes Degerfors IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthew Wagner who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on PoWer SC 2K5's corner Matthew Wagner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Sandberg quite easily take care of the ball. Zvonimir Prestin might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zvonimir Prestin ran back to his position shaking his head. Zvonimir Prestin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Sandberg having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. Selman Durkaya was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Degerfors IF! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for PoWer SC 2K5. Zvonimir Prestin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Sandberg. 0-1. After some careless play in the Degerfors IF defense, Patrick Middendorf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. The Degerfors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Sandberg should have stopped the shot. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. Fredrik Isak struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. 65 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Prestin came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zvonimir Prestin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Degerfors IF made a substitution. Anthon Eliasson replaced Åke Fors. In the 75th minute Zvonimir Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes Degerfors IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthew Wagner who took care of the corner kick. After 86 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Christoffersson. 88 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Prestin came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 91st minute of play. The PoWer SC 2K5 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
