Donzel Goyeneta scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Fyfe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donzel Goyeneta in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. King Scorpio hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the game Marcelo Winter made a throw-in which Kevin Carreira played forward. In the 30th minute, King Scorpio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Koltsidas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 37th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Pachucki to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Mitsiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Glenn Fyfe made a huge save. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by AEK S.C's Vaggelis Mitsiou. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Mitsiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. King Scorpio scored 2-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half A4p FC Gad were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaggelis Mitsiou made a kick off. In the 53rd minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Donzel Goyeneta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glenn Fyfe. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glenn Fyfe should have stopped the shot. If João Francisco de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Erasmo Damião replaced Iulian Berceanu. 65 minutes into the match, King Scorpio notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas. Thanasis Koltsidas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. King Scorpio scored 3-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Busuioc in the 81st minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AEK S.C's Thomas Papatrechas was substituted for Alfaro Meo. Gică Busuioc scored 3-6 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Gică Busuioc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
