After the first half ✪ XV de Umarizal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adriano van Beek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hudson Gaúcho firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Naldo Passos hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Wellington Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Bulnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A nice corner shot did that Eliézer Paranaense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hudson Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 96 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Simões.
