Thalis Krommidas started the match with the kick off. The corner ended in Caetano Tasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Hartz in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanasis Koltsidas saved AEK S.C from getting behind. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by AEK S.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Figueira SC FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Caetano Tasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas did a great save. The AEK S.C fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when AEK S.C's Donzel Goyeneta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Pastor Hartz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Thalis Krommidas might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Femke Bol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thalis Krommidas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Thalis Krommidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacharias Siatzis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Femke Bol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacharias Siatzis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacharias Siatzis got free with Femke Bol in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanasis Koltsidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Zamorano in the 31st minute of play. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Reis made a kick off. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Krommidas in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Thalis Krommidas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Thalis Krommidas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Femke Bol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AEK S.C's Vaggelis Mitsiou was substituted for Thalis Krommidas. In the 74th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Mitsiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Mitsiou came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AEK S.C's attentive Rodrigo Hats managed to snatch the ball when Dadá Macedo made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK S.C's Donzel Goyeneta. But to his dismay, Donzel Goyeneta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Femke Bol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donzel Goyeneta went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Zacharias Siatzis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Figueira SC FSCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
