In the 7th minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Femke Bol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes, Paul Mertesacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PoWer SC 2K5 and the Figueira SC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urtzi Zamorano in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Figueira SC FSCMZ's Dadá Macedo to fire away a dangerous shot which David Rotariu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Figueira SC FSCMZ's Yuri Reis in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PoWer SC 2K5's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by PoWer SC 2K5's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time Figueira SC FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Todor came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 31st minute of play. Yuri Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 37th minute of play. When Victor Kaur fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueira SC FSCMZ's protests and gave Victor Kaur a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Kaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Matthew Wagner in the 47th minute really tested Femke Bol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zvonimir Prestin to make the kick off. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Todor, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute PoWer SC 2K5 were awarded a corner. Matthew Wagner went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on PoWer SC 2K5's corner Hector Todor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Femke Bol quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Yuri Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Reis got free with David Rotariu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtzi Zamorano in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. In the 61st minute Dadá Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Kaur to maneuver through the defense. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Klinsmann in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute Leroy Kluttig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Paul Mertesacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Klinsmann in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Klinsmann came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Dadá Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Reis in the 94th minute. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
