Jon-Egil Schjelderup was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Moisés Arruda came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra VFC's Wellington Pires. But to his dismay, Wellington Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The audience was convinced that Sócrates Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Arruda was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
