In the 16th minute Amancio Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angel Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Fors in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Mitxel in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Elano Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Sandberg having to interfere. Amancio Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Mitxel in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Angel Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Mitxel in the 40th minute of play. Åke Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zé Simões hit a great ball. Leonard Christoffersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Fors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angel Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 52nd minute of play. Angel Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Amancio Mitxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Sandberg came out of the goal and Amancio Mitxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selman Durkaya tried in the 75th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Sebastian Sandberg a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. Amancio Mitxels short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Sebastian Sandberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amancio Mitxel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Sandberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amancio Mitxel in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Sandberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Elano Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Sandberg came out of the goal and Elano Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Selman Durkaya got a free kick in the 84th minute. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Elano Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Mitxel came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zygmunt Filanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Mitxel in the 93rd minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Amancio Mitxel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
