After 16 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calvin Kuckhoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Sarmento. A hard shot by Erling Finnman from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Delfim Chaves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Galo do Japi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
