The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Gaétan Toullec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 10th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kader Miguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christophe Montaigne in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espen Granerud saved Hahay from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christophe Montaigne in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Granerud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wawrzyniec Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Tamulewicz came free, but Gaétan Toullec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaétan Toullec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Olejarz in the 29th minute. After 42 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Tony Jérémie. Thanks to some nice moves Wawrzyniec Lewandowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Gaétan Toullec however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th minute of the match, Witalis Tamulewicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaétan Toullec saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Psotka during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Psotka kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski was the one to do the kick off. Feliks Rykaczewski hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 54th minute of play. Gaétan Toullec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Cristo Urtungo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cats and dogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hahay the free kick. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kader Miguet in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Witalis Tamulewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hahay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gaétan Toullec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Hahay's Espen Granerud got control of the ball when Christophe Montaigne tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wawrzyniec Lewandowski in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaétan Toullec saved Cats and dogs from getting behind. Gaétan Toullec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pascal Herrmann. 83 minutes into the match, Hahay's Konrad Hatman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 88th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Banaszak to maneuver through the defense. When Justin Cornil fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cats and dogs's protests and gave Justin Cornil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Justin Cornil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Tamulewicz came free, but Gaétan Toullec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Justin Cornil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hahay's Mariusz Olejarz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cats and dogs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
