Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Vitório Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vitório Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Mock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Lefler to maneuver through the defense. Carlinhos Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Marks having to interfere. Van Dik hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Danial Lefler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitório Mendonça. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Vitório Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobby Fisher in the 18th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Alfredo Paulista put in a rough tackle. In the 25th minute Lorenzo Whitehead managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Darin Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonatan Calleri's late challenge caught a C. A. Pipon Pipon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Calleri helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Calleri kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of C. A. Pipon Pipon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of São Paulo da Floresta:s goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon:s Darin Marks showed great skill when he stopped Ivo Vergílio:s penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Bill Livingston replaced Lorenzo Whitehead. The wind increased when Carlinhos Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Colin Mock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitório Mendonça was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Ivo Vergílio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jerold Floyd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitório Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Pipon Pipon reached it. 64 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Rossi came free, but Darin Marks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Danial Lefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Paulo da Floresta's Vitório Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitório Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danial Lefler's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Darin Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Landon Vogt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bronson Mackey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Van Dik got a free kick in the 88th minute. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Kerry Lancaster was substituted for Landon Vogt. Van Dik hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Lefler in the 90th minute of play forced São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Vitório Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Danial Lefler. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
