In the 7th minute, Victorien Desbrosses got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo de Sena got free with Paul Boulais in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Lenny Delsart made a precise shot to the right of Dadá da Mata. Clube Atlético Luziense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Maurice Chalaye notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Clube Atlético Luziense's Dadá da Mata. Dadá da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Queinnec in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dadá da Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Maurice Chalaye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá da Mata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Burgun to maneuver through the defense. When Rodolfo de Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Rodolfo de Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Rodolfo de Medeiros got a free kick in the 40th minute. Victorien Desbrosses recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurice Chalaye to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Maurice Chalaye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Luziense's Dadá da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dadá da Mata made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Maurice Chalaye sent off a good shot on target. Maurice Chalaye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dadá da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Royal PSG getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lenny Delsart hit a great ball. Clube Atlético Luziense's Kléberson Siqueira was substituted for Cristian Urbano. In the 67th minute, Lenny Delsart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Fábio Bueno hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. With an all-out effort, Royal PSG's Dadá da Mata threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurice Chalaye, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lenny Delsart kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá da Mata was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jason Gaulin. Maurice Chalaye received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dadá da Mata came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurice Chalaye slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 87th minute. After 92 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Chalaye. In the 93rd match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félicien Gardelle to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Siqueira came free, but Paul Boulais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Royal PSG walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
