Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bonifacio Cresconio got the match started through his kick off. When Bonifacio Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Cresconio couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute Bonifacio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Clube Atlético Luziense's Gerson Furlan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 21 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavinho Luz who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Urbano drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper. After 28 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Cristian Urbano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Sena came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Luzea hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Flavinho Luz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Luziense. Luciano Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Salvatore came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Furlan in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Gerson Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerson Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 64 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Urbano came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bernardinho Dante hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Cristian Urbano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Donato Nalo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Nalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clube Atlético Luziense's Luís Fernando de Moraes was substituted for Cristian Urbano. In the 74th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Nalo to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Rodrigues in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Anacleto Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match, Flavinho Luz sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Melquiades Salvatore showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bonifacio Cresconio hit a great ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
