Venancio Dantae took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Secco. Durval Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Enéas Bezerra got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leon Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Vieira in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfa FC's Joélson Rodrigues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Roldan. That made the score 1-2 after 19 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Durval Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Baltasar Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Durval Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Evaristo de Sena got a free kick in the 27th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Arturo Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Durval Secco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Bittor in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Dalmacio Natal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Urbano Lidon fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howling Dawn U18's protests and gave Urbano Lidon a yellow card for diving instead. Urbano Lidon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hugo Neiva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Durval Secco came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme. But to his dismay, Baltasar Walme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Durval Secco came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Arturo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Arturo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Venancio Dantae hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Walme. Everardo Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Durval Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Secco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Bittor went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Evaristo de Sena got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dalmacio Natal hit a great ball. Hugo Neiva struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leon Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfa FC. The Alfa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Howling Dawn U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
