The audience was convinced that Joélson Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Comas was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Joélson Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Comas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joélson Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Joélson Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amancio Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Abeluse Flow getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Damario Navarro hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Abeluse Flow's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Rodrigues came free, but Amancio Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Joélson Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amancio Comas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Sandrinho Godoi got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Abeluse Flow booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho de Brito was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. Maurinho de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alfa FC's Alan Paes was substituted for Joélson Rodrigues. In the 34th minute, Maurinho de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Damario Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuel Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfa FC's Emanuel Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alan Paes came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Alfa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Paes couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the game, Alfa FC's Emanuel Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Comas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Alfa FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis-Miguel Sevilla made a kick off. When Alan Paes fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Alan Paes a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Paes. If Emanuel Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Comas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damario Navarro in the 78th minute of play. Leandro de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Leandro de Lara hit a great ball. Durval Secco came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán. But to his dismay, Silvano Adán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Coya came free, but Durval Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Enéas Bezerra hit a great ball. Amancio Comas was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Emanuel Vieira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Vieira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Leandro de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Amancio Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
