Fabian Mateus hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Juguemos con el 5's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Nalo came free, but Fernando Eguerdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camilo Abar came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Juguemos con el 5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Abar couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Mel went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Juguemos con el 5's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Jaunti came free, but Fernando Eguerdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Mel struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juguemos con el 5. In the 35th minute Artemio Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Artemio Jaunti fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Artemio Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Artemio Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Eguerdi having to interfere. Fernando Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Atlético Atlanta's Bonifacio Cresconio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Juguemos con el 5's Fernando Eguerdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Juguemos con el 5 from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bonifacio Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Nalo's late challenge caught a Juguemos con el 5's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Nalo helped the player get up and apologised. When Juguemos con el 5's Leonel Mel in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
