Juguemos con el 5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Daniel Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Eguerdi was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Nilson Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Eguerdi having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Daniel Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Eguerdi. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
