Severiano Santo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Porto. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Claudinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 4th minute. Braulio Saturnin scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean da Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Vo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Florencio Bento made a precise shot to the right of Jean da Silva. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jean da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Vo in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Amílton Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Santo. Amílton Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jean da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jani La Marca in the 24th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Maranhense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasilino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amboy FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Carlos Eduardo Maranhense got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jean da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Aznaro in the 37th minute of play. Severiano Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Porto in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Vo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Florencio Bento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean da Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 58 minutes, Maximino Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Aznaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amboy FC's Filomeno Pio was substituted for Braulio Saturnin. In the 62nd minute, Florencio Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 66th minute, Zé Vo made a precise shot to the right of Jean da Silva. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Jean da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Bento in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Francisco Medina hit a great ball. Severiano Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Esteves in the 79th minute of play. The corner led Brasilino's Bernardo Porto to fire away a dangerous shot which Severiano Santo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes, Brasilino's Bernardo Porto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severiano Santo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brasilino reached it. After 86 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Vasconcelos. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Amboy FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
