Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Papaggelatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Bitelon FC - SAF made a substitution. Paulo José de Moraes replaced Agnaldo Batista. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bitelon FC - SAF's Günalp Taştan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bitelon FC - SAF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bitelon FC - SAF booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton do Vale in the 73rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Günalp Taştan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Juarês Guerra made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cleiton do Vale immediately put the ball in play. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-0 when 叶凌宁 sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 88th minute, Frank Sachs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Günalp Taştan. The goal made the score 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 叶凌宁 in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 叶凌宁 in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
