Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) France's Frank Peletier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Dijmărescu in the 7th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Olympic CF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but 姚昆文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Esposito, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Horaţiu Dijmărescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Olympic CF's Marin Niculescu got a free kick in the 15th minute. Horea Şteflea made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. In the 21stth minute of the game Horaţiu Dijmărescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute David Barbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姚昆文 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Dijmărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Dijmărescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 played minutes Olympic CF got a freekick which was hit by Horea Şteflea. Camille Baume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Dijmărescu in the 46th minute of play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姚昆文 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 58th minute of play forced Olympic CF's goalkeeper 姚昆文 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Niculescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olympic CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, France's David Barbier got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 姚昆文. 63 minutes into the match, Olympic CF's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but 姚昆文 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. 姚昆文 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 姚昆文 made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 姚昆文 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Mădălin Bocșan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-4 became the score in the 86th minute when Frank Peletier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Dijmărescu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. 97 minutes into the game, Olympic CF's Horaţiu Dijmărescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
