Qian Ying Lang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Qian Ying Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Corlățean in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Ying Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qian Ying Lang. Qian Ying Lang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Corlățean in the 24th minute. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Aurel Corlățean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurel Corlățean really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Qian Ying Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 33rd minute of play. Aurel Corlățean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Chong Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Chong Yuan in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Yu Wei sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Wilson Amorim showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Qian Ying Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Jiang Chong Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Rada in the 55th minute of play. If Aurel Corlățean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Qian Ying Lang came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolomeu Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Iosub in the 80th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Mihnea Iosub made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihnea Iosub went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Graciano Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Qian Ying Lang made a huge save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Iosub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svetlan Voynski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94th play minutes Bartolomeu Dias shot 5-4, a short shot which went by Qian Ying Lang and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LIVERPOOL FC had won after a very even match.
