Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Raflewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MKS Polonia Słubice's Ludomil Mocko. Ludomil Mocko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Raflewski in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 13th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute. Ludomil Mocko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Arkadiusz Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS Polonia Słubice's goalkeeper Ludomil Mocko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. MKS Polonia Słubice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After having played for 44 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Mocko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Ludomil Mocko in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Herbert Raflewski put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Raflewski in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Polonia Słubice's Herbert Raflewski. But to his dismay, Herbert Raflewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Herbert Raflewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. When Witomir Dlugi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the MKS Polonia Słubice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witomir Dlugi couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, MKS Polonia Słubice's Tanek Drzewucki got a free kick in the 95th minute.
