After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Vörös Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Sikström quite easily take care of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Hugo Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Sundborn IF defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Sikström. The Sundborn IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Sikström should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Hugo Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Salah in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stellan Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match Sundborn IF got a corner. In the 55th minute Stellan Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Pål Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sundborn IF's Hugo Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 59th minute of play. Hugo Sikström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 72 minute of play. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Sikström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hugo Sikström made a huge save. 93 minutes into the game, Kåre Myhr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundborn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Myhr to maneuver through the defense.
