The audience thought a goal was coming when Evren Yezid got free with Casper Claes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belotaurus FC's Válter Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 34th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Belotaurus FC's Kléberson Bertassi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Válter Porto. Belotaurus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 57th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evren Yezid in the 60th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Bertassi's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
