Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Jakob Högman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sture Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Nytäppet Fc getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jakob Högman hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sture Abrahamsson was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilias Markatos in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Radomir Gerlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nytäppet Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Gerlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sture Abrahamsson was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nytäppet Fc getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dave Lombardo hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, David Eikelkamp made a precise shot to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. Nytäppet Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 43rd minute of play. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilias Markatos to make the kick off. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 53rd minute of the match. Sture Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 60th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Sture Abrahamsson threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nytäppet Fc's Xande Solitario was substituted for Ilias Markatos. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sture Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85 played minutes Nytäppet Fc got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Gerlach. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sture Abrahamsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Krückmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Abrahamsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Nytäppet Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. The goalkeeper, Sture Abrahamsson, was totally fooled by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Netherlands played a much better game than Nytäppet Fc and deserved their victory. The Nytäppet Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
