An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 8th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the game Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in which Sigfrido Auletta played forward. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Brzakala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Brzakala came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugon Brzakala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. In the 21st minute Hugon Brzakala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ovidiu Cosâmbescu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dobromir Juchno made a kick off. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
