The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Israel Jurado put in a rough tackle. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Spain! After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Björn Säfström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Björn Säfström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 马烨天 was slow to take the kick. The wind increased when Adria Bielsa made the kick off in the second half. David Aranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andréas Linquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papilio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Enrique Rabellino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andréas Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Ruiz succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The Papilio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
