Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ibro Brdanović's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibro Brdanović helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sanderlend's Ibro Brdanović got a free kick in the 9th minute. Meho Vehidović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced Sanderlend's goalkeeper Meho Vehidović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meho Vehidović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meho Vehidović saved Sanderlend from getting behind. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sanderlend's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Meho Vehidović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meho Vehidović having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Marco van Basten came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damad Divljak to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Meho Vehidović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 64th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goalkeeper Meho Vehidović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damad Divljak during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damad Divljak kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sanderlend's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meho Vehidović came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Meho Vehidović firmly grabbed it by the left post. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meho Vehidović having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Meho Vehidović in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damad Divljak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Marco van Basten struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanderlend. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sanderlend throughout the match.
