Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Toni Mauzer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantin Ţăranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinko Stankovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Liviu Avramescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Constantin Ţăranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinko Stankovic in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Croatia booed when C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Mărculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Domazet kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Albeanu in the 20th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ilija Skugor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mugur Beșleaga sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Toni Mauzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Mauzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Ţăranu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Avram Danciu. If Dinko Stankovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Mauzer in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantin Ţăranu saved C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- from getting behind. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emanuel Cristache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Kostelac kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Felix Albeanu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Felix Albeanu made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Albeanu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Benjamin Domazet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Martin Bosak came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Bosak couldn't finish the play. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Felix Albeanu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Damir Pongrac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Liviu Avramescu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Albeanu went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Toni Mauzer came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Mauzer couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- had played much better football throughout.
