Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 5th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Karsten Zentner took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Richard Mühsam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The FC Germania München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Mühsam should have stopped the shot. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludger Krug in the 36th minute of the match. Ludger Krug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karsten Zentner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viriato Moura did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Richard Mühsam 50 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, one of FC Germania München:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 65 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Richard Mühsam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Mühsam made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Mühsam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Mühsam made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Richard Mühsam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolomeu Dias's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartolomeu Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Mühsam. That made the score 3-3 in the 95 minute of play.
