In the 5thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jurand Cempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. If Zenon Cisek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cristo Verdu sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Napoleon Trojanowski went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jurand Cempa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Cempa got free with Tommy Kahn in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacisze Częstochowa were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabrício Coelho took the corner. Jurand Cempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Miroslaw Gollob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Gollob having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Jurand Cempa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Cempa in the 56th minute of the match. Jurand Cempa scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Axel Coomans replaced Gonzalo Firme. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zacisze Częstochowa had played much better football throughout.
